As many as 1,452 students from across the state have secured GPA (Grade Point Average) of 10 out of 10 points in the SSC exams, the results for which were announced on Friday. Of them, 91 students belong to Sri Chaitanya Techno Schools alone.

Dr B.S. Rao, the chairman of the Sri Chaitanya Group, said that another 1,107 students have bagged GPA of 9.8 and above, and 7,531 students have achieved GPA of 9.0 and above points. Ms Seema, the academic director, Sri Chaitanya Techno Schools, said the extraordinary performance in SSC 2013 examinations was due to Techno Integrated Syllabus, which provided a strong foundation in the core subjects.

AP Residential Educational Institutional Society has also secured highest pass percentage of 94.99, said R.S. Praveen Kumar, secretary, APSWREIS. He said 271 students from APSWREIS have secured a GPA of 10 out of 10 points.
