Webcounselilng Precautions

1 Please read the instructions carefully while exercising your options.
2 College details are provided district-wise in the beginning in a separate folder. Go through all the colleges in your region
Example: OU Region / AU Region / Region
3 First, identify the college/(s) as per your choice and course.
4 Analyse the situation to assess the probability of getting a seat in the identified college/(s) based on your EAMCET rank keeping the previous year’s allotment as reference.
5 Write them down on separate sheet
6 Prioritise them in order of preference college-wise / course-wise
7 Note and remember: counselling codes given:
• 4 letters for each college. • 6 letters for dual degree & Self-financed college • 3 letters for course Example: College Code: JNTU- JNTU College of Engineering Hyderabad Dual Degree College Code: JNTHMT- JNTU College of Engineering (Dual Degree). Hyderabad. Course code: ECE – Electronics and Communication Engineering
8 Last ranks admitted in previous year can be taken only for reference to know the probability of getting a seat.
9 Consider your choice with 15-20 % variation in the cut off ranks of EAMCET- 2010 Example: If your rank is 50,000 then you can take choices varying from 40,000 to 60,000 on words.
10 Please collect printout and verify your choices, whether they are in order of Preference or not; if not go to website and change them online.
